Hello everyone,
Is it possible to remove the ending number of each generated images if images doesn’t have the same name ?
For example, when I generate my images, currently i’ve got :
-
“car. 1 .png”
-
“plane. 2 .png”
-
“boat. 3 .png”
But this is not the same name, so I d’ont understand why Keyshot is putting a number after each name ??
Best regards,
It’s probably the ‘system render’ number. You should be able learn more about naming conventions and modify them here: https://manual.keyshot.com/manual/render-4/render-output/name-templates/
I can’t test at the moment as my machine is currently rendering, but I think the above will help clear things up.

Hello,
Thanks you very much for your help.
In fact it’s the ‘system render’ number, and it’s specifiyed : “When rendering an XR, Animation or Configurator, the image names will always be appended with a sequence number to avoid name conflicts.” ; and I am rendering an configurator.
Maybe, I can modify the script to delete this ‘system render’ number ? IDK
PS : I love your Keyshot tutorials on Youtube, thanks for that !

Just change the name template to none in the render settings.

Thank you for your help.
It’s not working because I’m forced to use the configurator… (I’ve got more than 800 images to render)
‘%d’ correspond to the ending number, if I’m right
I see. That’s interesting. Having not used the configurator much I didn’t realize it was not an option. I’d say it’s a valid request to the Luxion team though.

Sure ! In my case I don’t want it, but I can understand that some people need it.
